Neuromuscular Therapy

Per hour : $66.00

Neuromuscular therapy is effective in helping manage soft tissue dysfunction and chronic pain patterns.  It enhances the function of joints and muscles, increases range of motion, and accelerates the overall healing process by facilitating the release of endorphins.  The work is very specific, treating the belly of the muscle as well as the muscle attachments. Benefits include increased range of motion, flexibility, and decrease in pain.  Neuromuscular therapy has been helpful in treating whiplash, frozen shoulder, torticolis, migraines, tennis/golfer's elbow, SI joint dysfunction, sciatic-like symptoms radiating down the leg, TMJ discomfort, and hand and foot pain.

Orthopedic Massage

Per hour : $66.00

Orthopedic massage is a style of massage therapy focused on treating painful conditions affecting the soft tissues of the body. Orthopedic massage is helpful in addressing medical conditions, and involves releasing tense muscles, helping to stretch and lengthen tight muscles and tendons, and decompress rigid joints. We'll work together through active engagement of muscle groups. My goal is to improve the health of your body's soft tissue, both addressing your specific conditions as well as improving your overall well-being.

Deep Tissue Massage

Per hour : $66.00

Deep Tissue Massage is a form of bodywork that aims to relieve tension in the deeper layers of tissue in the body. Deep Tissue Massage is a highly effective method for releasing chronic stress areas due to misalignment, repetitive motions, and past lingering injuries. Due to the nature of the deep tissue work, open communication during the session is crucial to make sure you don't get too uncomfortable. Keep in mind that soreness is pretty common after the treatment, and that plenty of water should be ingested to aid with the flushing and removal of toxins that will have been released from the deep tissue during the session.

Swedish Massage

Per hour : $66.00

Swedish Massage is a very relaxing and therapeutic style of bodywork. It combines oils or lotion with an array of strokes such as rolling, kneading, and percussion to help the body improve its circulation. The benefits of this type of bodywork are wide-ranging and include relief from aches and pains, decreased stress levels in the body, enhanced mental clarity, improved appearance, and greater flexibility.  Some clients prefer the longer, more fluent, or connected strokes, of this modality.

CranioSacral (SM)

Per hour : $66.00

CranioSacral Therapy is a gentle yet powerful technique that is effective in releasing neck pain, back pain, and mental stress (among other things). It does this by optimizing the movement of cerebrospinal fluid through the spine and around the skull. The touch is very light, in fact, just 5 grams of pressure, but fascial restrictions begin to ease, and thus influence the cerebrospinal fluid. Developed by physician William Sutherland, this therapy provides a very soothing and relaxing healing experience.  It can address both physical and emotional trauma to the body.

Lymphatic Drainage

Per hour : $66.00

Lymphatic Drainage Therapy aims to gently and rhythmically move the lymph through the body, especially swollen areas of the body, relieving pressure, decreasing pain, and enhancing the functioning of the immune system. As both a preventative and remedial technique, LD can be used for a wide range of purposes including faster recovery from injury, reduction of swelling and discomfort from pregnancy, standing on your feet all day, and strengthened resistance to illness.  My LDT sessions are limited to basic lymph work.  I do not do lymph drainage on clients who have been diagnosed by a physician with lymphedema, or who have had lymph nodes removed.

Pregnancy Massage

Per hour : $66.00

Pregnancy Massage is a style of bodywork designed specifically for pregnant women. Pregnancy is a time when a woman's body endures tremendous stress due to dramatic physical and emotional changes. Using various techniques specially developed for the expecting mother, Pregnancy Massage helps release the pain and discomfort experienced throughout pregnancy. The benefits are profound, including emotional support, the relief of joint pain due to extra weight and postural imbalance, and improved breathing and relaxation.  Expect to be comfortably propped with cushions and pillows, and experience for yourself how nurturing a side-lying massage can feel!

Sports Massage

Per hour : $66.00

Sports Massage is a type of massage designed for highly active people who engage in athletics. Engaging in sports is harsh on the body and can often lead to injuries in both the short and long term. Sports Massage enhances performance and prolongs a sports career by helping prevent injury, reduce pain and swelling in the body, relax the mind, increase flexibility, and dramatically improve recovery rates. Sports Massage is also highly effective in aiding the rapid recovery of an athlete from an injury by encouraging greater kinesthetic awareness and in turn promoting the body's natural immune function.  Expect stretching and active engagement of muscle groups in this session.

Hot Stone Therapy

Per hour : $66.00

Hot Stone Therapy is a style of massage where heated stones are used on your body to deepen relaxation and promote circulation in your muscles. After applying a little massage oil to your muscles, I will use hot stones in my palms to sweep across your arms, legs, back, neck, hands, and feet. Muscles heated with these stones release tension and stress much more deeply and quickly than with a traditional massage. The overall experience is very relaxing, nurturing, and rejuvenating.  Clients often report feeling more relaxed after hot stone therapy.

Cancer/Oncology Massage

30 minutes: $44.00

Oncology Massage is a special type of massage developed specifically for cancer patients. Cancer patients have unique needs which must be addressed to make sure that a massage is beneficial to their health. I focus my attention on creating a gentle, nurturing environment for you to relax into.  It is recommended that you secure your physician's approval before receiving oncology massage.

Reflexology

30 minutes: $44.00

Reflexology is a type of bodywork that focuses on applying pressure to the specific nerve zones in your feet. Unlike other foot massages that intend to mostly relieve tension in the feet themselves, reflexology is a far more in-depth science that aims to harmonize your entire body. According to reflexology, every part of the human body is mapped into your feet. Reflexology treatments have been found to be highly effective for conditions such as allergies, headaches, and depression.
